Join the Team on the Farm

Hours: Flexible, Usually 10-20hrs/week

 

Pay: $20-24 per hour plus $6/hr ECE-WE if applicable, depending on experience

 

Do you enjoy the great outdoors and have a passion for Nature as well as education? Stem Early Learning Centre offers nature focused, primarily outdoor classes in a farm and forest environment, for children ages 29 months to 5 years.

 

Job Description:

-Provide supervision and care to 8 children ages 29 months to school age

-Provide developmentally appropriate activities 

-Transport 2-4 children to field trip locations in your own vehicle

-Keep daily records of attendance, hazard checks, minor incidents etc. 

 

The ECE/ECEA will replace the lead ECE at the centre for administrative work time, appointments, sick days, and vacation time. 

 

The ECE/ECEA will accompany the lead ECE on field trips, helping to transport children, and provide extra supervision on these field trips. Field trip locations include parks, the library, water parks, natural locations and other locations in the community. 

 

Requirements:

ECE or ECEA certification

First Aid certification

Valid Driver’s licence 

 

Start Date: September 1st, 2026
